Mark Lapwood, an acclaimed cinematographer with over 25 years of professional experience, has made his mark in the world of documentaries, television commercials, music videos, and feature films.
He earned prestigious accreditation with the Australian Cinematographers Society in 2006 and the New Zealand Cinematographers Society in 2021. His work displays mastery in lighting design and camera operation when filming in the studio and on locations around the world.
Mark's work revolves around crafting compelling visual narratives, skilfully weaving together sequences that convey powerful storytelling. He is passionate about human rights, and has turned his camera on important causes in recent years to tell grass roots stories of authentic people standing up for important causes in the face of adversity.
Industry giants such as Netflix, National Geographic, Discovery, BBC, UK Channel 4, SBS, and the NZ Film Commission have entrusted Mark with their feature and series projects.
Mark is based in Auckland, New Zealand and works worldwide.
