For NZ Music Month this May Waiheke library is hosting a number of live events in the Artworks Courtyard and in the library itself.
On Sat 7th The Royal Fortune will perform live in the courtyard from 2-3 pm introducing a number of our country's best traditional songs and explaining the rich history behind them.
On Sat 14th Mano and The Sons perform live in the courtyard from 2-3 pm playing an eclectic mix of Blues, Rock, Jazz, Latin, Maori, Ballads and original music.
On Sat 21st The Solomon Cole perform live in the courtyard from 2-3 pm
On Sat 28th Tilde Sørensen and Lisa Larsen will play Beethoven's Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 5 in F Major ("Spring"), and Handel's Violin Sonata No. 4 in D Major in the library between 1-2 pm followed by Waiheke Kids - Got Talent 3pm – 3:30pm in the library
On Sun 29th their is the ever popular ukulele workshop between 1.30 – 3.30 pm. Ukuleles will be provided for those that don’t have one.
